Braising steak is usually sold in whole pieces but you can get your butcher to dice it up for you or do it yourself at home. How Can I Cook It? We don't even have a spit- I just put a pan under it to catch the juices and flipped it once. We even baked the potatoes next to it. The kids loved it too! This recipe was tasty and the scent was mouth watering, I made a few changes. The roast I bought was very mishapen, so instead of using a rotissarie, I used a slow cooker.

I unfortunately didn't have teriyaki sauce, but the next best thing I mixed up some soy sauce and sugar and a bit of wine. Place the casserole over a medium—high heat and simmer for 2—3 minutes, or until the gravy reduces and becomes thickened and glossy, stirring regularly.
