How long has firelands been out

As long as the barrier between Skywall and Azeroth remains open, terror will rain down on Uldum from the skies. From here, the great elemental lord Neptulon the Tidehunter has surveyed and protected his aquatic domain for ages. He now faces his greatest challenge as a force of serpentine naga and malefic faceless ones threaten to depose him, leaving his realm and its secrets ripe for the plundering.

End Time One of an infinite number of potential outcomes, this timeway depicts the desolate future of Azeroth should Deathwing fail to be stopped. Nozdormu has identified a powerful anomaly that exists in this moment and bars access to the past—and hope of retrieving the Demon Soul.

The powerful creature from out of time lives alone amidst the time-twisted echoes of the past. Your character and items will be scaled down to a power level fitting for the challenge at hand, but bosses will yield loot appropriate for your regular level. You can also start the quest from within the Adventure Guide Shift- J. Quest Requirement: Complete 5 Timewalking dungeons. Rewards: One loot box containing a piece of gear from Normal difficulty Sanctum of Domination.

Beth'tilac Man : Kill one of the spiders that drops down, go up top and burn the boss, very easy fight. Shannox Man : I didn't have enough dps to do this on man because I couldn't kill Rageface quick enough before he used Face Rage on me, which is a wipe when soloing.

Strat is simple: Kill Rageface as soon as possible, pop all cooldowns and burn him. Afterwards just down the boss and avoid traps. Alysrazor Man : Easy fight on Man. I got three feathers for the speed increase but didn't fly up. Kill the adds when they spawn and range the boss down throughout the fight.

Avoiding the tornadoes of flame is easy: just follow one. Baleroc Man : I couldn't do enough dps on the man version before he killed me, the man version is easy, I'd just avoid the Shard of Torment and burn him down. Staghelm Man : Much like Baleroc, I couldn't do enough dps on the man version before I was killed. Avoid the circles of fire and just burn the boss down, he dies fairly quickly.

Ragnaros Man : I didn't attempt it on man, mostly out of laziness and wanting to go to sleep, but the man version is easy. Kill the adds when they spawn and burn the boss down.

Comment by Cantralian For anyone wanting to try for the mounts in a post-stat squish environment: go for it. I'm a mainly TI geared iLvl BM hunter two tier pieces from the Celestials , no raiding experience, very average player and I've never been in Firelands before.

Did all bosses on 10M normal with no issues and only one death, to some trash who did stacking fire damage the two fire worms just before Ragnaros which killed me right quick. Basically, I burned all bosses without worrying about strats or mechanics, just stayed out of the bad on the ground and on Shannox made sure to kill Rageface, then Riplimb, then Shannox. Ran with a spirit beast, but will swap to a shale spider next time for the damage reduction since I had to pop Last Stand and res my pet on Baleroc.

Used glyph of animal bond, glyph of mending, glyph of misdirect and the spirit bond talent. Comment by SaucyPasta64 90 warlock ilevel: Just wanted to drop some data.

Finished normal 10 man pretty easy last week, so decided to try 10 man Heroic this week. Only problems I had were with in order of hardest to least : - Majordomo -Shannox -Lord Rhyolith The rest were just fun dpsing. Comment by grykee Been doing 10m since 6. First few weeks on my Warlock i roflstomped it no prob. This week i noticed it seemed to take decidedly longer and even wiped on Rag once.

Is it just me or did locks either get a nerf or did firelands get a buff? Or did the adjust the legacy content buff? Comment by Gulanga Solo farming this on heroic 10 man post 6. I've been farming this on 10man hc on my warrior since the patch and it is not difficult for me at all, at ilvl However some bosses will be a problem for lesser geared folks. Once you are up you must kill her before going down.

If you go down you will be permanently stun-locked by the adds. Staghelm - This might be hard for some people because of the damage you take, otherwise it is simple Ragnaros - All about managing the adds.

Keep them from hitting the hammer during his down phases. I've gotten 2 hammers and 2 sets of adds at the same time, this is no fun. The hammer can also be invisible, but you will still see the glow effect.

This is the only real issue in this fight. Comment by Clythez So since i personally feel mage is the hardest class to solo as of right now i figured id chip in with my 2 cents - bear in mind this is for 25 man HC the other difficulties are all fairly easy: The first 4 bosses are a cakewalk, small notes tho: Shannox - focus him, use water elemental to break face rage Beth'tilac - kill a spinner go upstairs then just simple nuke, dont get hit by meteors, they will drop you down Rhyolith - You might have to kite through a couple of volcanos otherwise just keep him away from the edge Alysrazor - Pick up feathers, dont fall down,?

Fandral Staghelm - By far the hardest of the instance for this i recommend going cold snap, icy nova, mirror images and thermal void also you NEED glyph of regenrative ice.

Start the fight off with water jet and mirror images, after he kills the first blow everything you have and nuke as hard as possible, save icy novas for whenever he gets spirits up and clear them with one hit, every time he uses leap of flame which will be every seconds after about 40 seconds of the fight move OUT, the damage may not seem like much but you cant afford to take a simple point of unnescesary damage.

Enjoy phat lewts. As of the current patch Highmaul i am ilvl and thus is fairly well geared, most except staghelm is probably doable with considerably lower item level. Comment by Acann Heroic man yields 2, gold, 75 silver, and 45 copper in 30 minutes if you sell all the loot. The trash mobs aren't worth clearing except to spawn Shannox as they only drop silver coins. I killed all the bosses with my level BM-Hunter ilvl.

These are all Full Clears on 25 Heroic. I didn't bother to add Baradin Hold, Four Winds, did them week prior they only give g or less. Did these as SM Fury Warrior ilvl Comment by Huntyoudown so um i am lvl and have everything set for normal and i cant walk in any ideas? Comment by Shaldana Just a heads up for those scouring for gear -- Firelands is soloable. I didn't attempt Beth, as I doubted I could be in two places at once, but I might go back tonight and give it a crack.

I'm a level priest who's pretty much always holy, but went in as an inexperienced shadow spec in garbage gear item level for May Totally doable, not once was my health in jeopardy and I didn't have to heal up ever, so pretty easy. Now, the battle to protect Hyjal rages in Ragnaros's smoldering realm. As territory is gained and Azeroth's champions edge closer to the Firelands' inner sanctums, a monumental task lies ahead.

Entrenched around Ragnaros's lair -- Sulfuron Keep -- are his most trusted guardians, including the turncoat Druids of the Flame and their mysterious leader. Yet Hyjal's defenders cannot afford to shy away from any of these dangers. Should Ragnaros prevail against the incursion and succeed in destroying Nordrassil, Azeroth will suffer a blow from which it might never recover.

As Malfurion Stormrage rallied Hyjal's defenders in a massive counterattack, the Circle stormed into the Firelands. Soon, the Circle was reinforced by the Alliance and Horde who pushed further into the Firelands until they reached Sulfuron Keep.

Ultimately, Ragnaros fell before the might of Azeroth's champions. The death of Ragnaros has left the Firelands in utter chaos. During the third invasion of the Burning Legion , the shaman of the Earthen Ring attempt to recruit the elemental Lords to fight with them against the Burning Legion.

Upon witnessing the civil war raging in the Firelands, the Farseer ordered his forces to scout the area and learn about the two leaders. After learning that Smolderon was more willing to work with mortals over Pyroth, the Farseer decide to back Smolderon as the new Firelord. As the new Firelord accepted the Earthen Ring's plea, he sent a servant by the name of Baron Scaldius to represent him and to aid the Ring at the Heart of Azeroth.

They were stopped by an Alliance adventurer and Anvil-Thane Thurgaden , who had come to the Firelands to rebuild the Black Anvil and weren't initially aware of the cult's existence. However, the cult's apparent leader High Justice Grimstone still lives. The ash-choked Firelands is the least hospitable of the elemental domains.

What serves as air in this harsh place is laden with scalding, noxious fumes. The only safe havens from the Firelands' ever-churning magma ocean are islands of jagged rock. Yet even the dangers of this merciless landscape pale in comparison to the raging fury of the elementals who dwell there.

The fire spider brood of Beth'tilac sate their appetites by sucking the magma and fire from the corpses of elementals. They can be observed catching Molten giants and Fire hawks with their webs. The Hell hounds were the only things not being webbed or eaten by the spiders, but rather are trying to get at the spider eggs. The hellhounds can also be observed eating one of the Flamewaker trappers. The fire turtles are eating the scorpions. The local flora, which may either be native or imported and transformed by Druids of the Flame, appears to draw nutrition from molten lava.

In World of Warcraft, the Firelands became accessible in the Cataclysm. Players can enter it through several flamegates found in Mount Hyjal which Ragnaros and his minions have invaded.

The places within the Firelands can roughly be divided in three categories:. Deep beneath the earth and seas of the Elemental Plane lurks the Firelands , a place of heat and ash.
